As construction progresses at Ombré Robina, it’s not just the building that’s taking shape — the future of the entire suburb is looking brighter than ever.
A recent media announcement in the Courier Mail confirmed what many locals already know: Robina is on the rise. Whether or not the proposed Olympic Athletes’ Village goes ahead, the area is firmly positioned for future long-term growth. With major investment in transport, connectivity, and planning already underway, Robina will continue to thrive as a vibrant hub for work, lifestyle, and liveability.
That future is already coming to life at Ombré. Despite a little more wet weather than we’d have liked this month, the Greyburn Building Contractors’ team continues to make great progress onsite. With the podium level now complete, the full base of the building is in place and from here, you’ll really start to see Ombré move from vision to reality.
It’s an exciting stage in the journey, with key works happening across multiple levels:
In Basement 2, fire sprinkler installation is now underway, while Basement 1 has reached an important milestone with plumbing works now complete.
On Level 1, all blockwork has been finalised and the formwork for Level 2 is in place — paving the way for internal works to begin in May.
Meanwhile, Level 2 is progressing with formwork, reinforcement and post-tensioning in preparation for the first concrete pour, currently pencilled in for 24 April.
From here, the structure will rise quickly — and with every new level, we’re one step closer to welcoming a vibrant new community to this growing part of Robina. Whether you’ve already secured your new home or you’re watching closely and waiting for the final release, it’s an exciting time to be part of what’s unfolding.
Stay tuned — there’s so much more to come!
