One word sums up the site right now — and that’s busy!
Momentum is building, with activity right across the project. Finishing works are in full swing, and everything is beginning to look and feel more like it will on move-in day.
Ground-level works are pushing ahead, and trades are circulating on every level — electricians, painters, tilers, flooring contractors and plumbers — all focused on bringing the final details together.
Outside, the focus is on landscaping and shared spaces
What this means on the ground is that the spaces residents will use every day are now starting to take shape.
The award-winning Muller Landscaping team is currently onsite preparing for the planting phase, with a large semi-load of plants scheduled to arrive this week for delivery and installation. They’re coordinating everything plant-related in close collaboration with Greyburn as the project enters this final, highly visible stage and the landscaped areas begin to transform the look and feel of the site.
The off-leash dog area has now been prepared and is ready for turfing and landscaping — and it’s already looking fantastic. Park benches have also been ordered, so neighbours will be able to sit, chat and enjoy the space together.
We’re also expecting the pool to be filled within the next one to two weeks, which will be a really exciting milestone. Plus, the front awning will be removed shortly, making way for streetscaping works to begin.
Inside, it’s all about the finishing touches
The shift into the final stage is just as noticeable inside the building. Carpet installation in the lower-level corridors was completed last week, making a big visual difference, so these spaces feel warm and welcoming.
On Level 8, the skylights are now in place — a standout design feature that fills our premium Horizon Homes with natural light and lifts the feel of the space.
Everything is coming together
Over the next two to three weeks, we’ll be moving through what feels like the busiest phase — lots happening at once, and then suddenly, everything starts to look finished.
We’re genuinely excited to be reaching this point. Every week now brings visible progress, and Ombré is really starting to look and feel like the place our buyers will soon be calling home.
