Another month has passed, and it’s all coming together at Lakeside Serenity! Even with a few weather challenges this month, the Resort Homes team has kept spirits high and progress steady, working across multiple areas of the site to stay on track and bring the villas to life. With every week that passes, it’s exciting to see another piece of the architects’ vision slot into place as we edge closer to completion.
Here’s what’s been happening inside the villas:
Villas 1–8 are virtually complete, with epoxy garage floors finished, final fitting off of fixtures and fittings in progress, carpets laid, and cleaning, final touch-ups and silicone works underway ahead of final inspections.Villas 9–12 are also close to the finish line, with final fit off works underway, carpets in, air-conditioning and hot water systems fitted, and testing and commissioning underway.
Villas 13–16 are shortly having their driveways and footpaths poured, marking the completion of all major concrete works, while final fit-off of sanitaryware, electrical fixtures and installation of the final carpets will be complete within the next couple of weeks.
Outside, timber decks and external stairs are in place, pool mosaics installed, and the pool shells are all ready for painting.
On the waterfront, the barge has now arrived, and work has begun on the piles and mooring blocks for the shared pontoons — the first step towards gangway installation in the weeks ahead. Streetscape landscaping is almost finished, with planting adding more greenery and vibrancy throughout the precinct. At the entry, trades have been busy working on feature walls — soon to be rendered and landscaped — to create a standout welcome to this stunning waterfront community.
Elsewhere across the precinct, momentum is building, with CoStruct, the appointed builder for the Lakeside Apartments established on site, erecting fencing and site sheds and getting started on the bulk excavation works.
