Congratulations to Immerse Projects and Greyburn Building Contractors on being selected to help create Northshore Hamilton, Brisbane’s newest riverside community.
Backed by the Queensland Government, Northshore Hamilton is one of Brisbane’s most ambitious urban renewal projects to date. Stretching along the Brisbane River, it’s being transformed from former industrial land into a vibrant new waterfront neighbourhood for around 5,000 residents. The 6.1-hectare riverfront precinct will feature 13 residential towers, around 2,200 one- to four-bedroom homes. It will also include retail and commercial space, a 15,000 sqm shopping precinct, a hotel, childcare, medical services, parklands, community lawns, and new public spaces.
As one of five selected project teams, Immerse Projects and Greyburn Building Contractors will build approximately 402 homes across four medium-rise residential buildings, together with ground-floor retail. The appointment reflects the combined development and construction experience the two teams have built over many years, and the confidence placed in them to help deliver such an important part of Brisbane’s future.

Announcing the project, Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie told The Courier-Mail that the Government was “open for business and backing the building industry.” He described Northshore Hamilton as “the beginning of a major ‘river-lution’ on Brisbane’s northside.”
