Over the last few weeks, we’ve enjoyed some spectacular winter weather, which has been perfect for keeping our Rhythm Kirra Hill project on track. On Monday morning, against the backdrop of clear blue skies, we poured the level four slab, marking a significant milestone.
Activity on-site is bustling, with around 40 trades working daily, which will ramp up to 70 by October. This increased workforce ensures that everything proceeds as planned, with the final roof slab scheduled for pouring in October 2024.
As the structure continues to take shape, the joinery is being fabricated, and the stone is being cut offsite. Both are on track for an August delivery. We’re also excited to report that we’ve received all the windows for levels one to three, with installation now complete on level one. This progress is an exciting step as you can start to get a good feel for how the apartments will look when they’re complete.
Service trades have made significant strides, installing major plant, stacks, and risers on level one and commencing work on level two. The partitions are being completed on level one, revealing the layout of the bathrooms and bedrooms and bringing the final floor plan to life.
Our basement services are now complete, offering three levels of storage. This extra space is invaluable as we begin fitting out the apartments, as it allows us to store materials in the basement and lift them to the required floors using the material hoist.
Another exciting development is that the lift has arrived from overseas. Once the building structure is complete, the team will install it. So, as you can see, these are busy and exciting times at Rhythm Kirra Hill!
Inspection of our display suite is by appointment only.
