After a short break over Christmas, Ombré has been a hive of activity throughout January. A wide range of finishing trades are hard at work across the site, including cabinetmakers, electricians, tilers, painters and landscapers, all working together and focused on the final stage of the build. Energy is high, and you can really feel the momentum building as the project moves towards completion.

Another milestone reached

This month, we’ve reached a significant milestone in the construction process, with the scaffolding now completely removed. As a result, Ombré has been revealed in its final form, showcasing its warm, inviting architecture and signature feature curves.

In addition, both the hoist and crane will shortly be removed from the construction site — another clear sign that we’ve shifted into the final phase.

On ground level

Ombré’s entry and pool area are quickly coming together. Early landscaping works are underway, planter boxes are being waterproofed and filled, and mature pandanus trees are beginning to be planted out.

Residents’ spaces have been painted ahead of the imminent cabinetry installation, and with the natural stone crazy paving now complete in the dining room and bar area, you can really get a sense of how relaxed, welcoming, and easy everyday life at Ombré will be.

Inside the building

With basement storage cages currently being fitted and the lift now fully installed, attention is firmly focused on bringing the apartments to life.

As the finishing trades move up through the building, the apartment interiors are really starting to feel like home. Cabinetry has been completed up to Level 7 and is well underway on Level 8 — the top residential floor.

With Autumn fast approaching, the finish line is clearly in sight. Next month, we’ll share more construction updates along with information about the settlement process, so we can guide our buyers through the final steps and get ready to welcome them to Ombré.
