Ombré is close to reaching a major construction milestone with the third of four-podium level concrete pours scheduled for 11 March. However, the team must consider program scheduling and site safety to manage any potential impacts from Cyclone Alfred. If Robina is affected, the podium pour will need to be rescheduled.
For those unfamiliar with the term, the podium is the structural base of the building that supports the levels above while also forming a key part of the shared spaces. With just one more pour to go to complete the base, the next phase will begin, and soon, you’ll see Ombré truly take shape. While construction is moving forward efficiently, precision remains our top priority. Every detail matters.
But Ombré isn’t just about strong foundations—it’s about creating beautiful, liveable spaces. Take the kitchens, for example. Cris Edwards of Mannigan Edwards Interiors played a key role in their design. She describes them as crafted spaces that feel as good as they look—generous in size, well-planned, and finished to the very highest standard. With a seamless layout, premium appliances, and thoughtful storage, they make everyday living effortless—whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee or hosting a dinner with family and friends.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing exclusive interviews with the experts behind Ombré—from the architect to the interior designer herself—giving you a closer look at the craftsmanship and thinking behind the project.
